Hint of Honey is the sweet side of our barbeque powder, built on an organic tomato base with Dijon and our Worcestershire powder folded in for savory depth — the way Terra Spice builds a blend on a blend. Honey granules and brown sugar sit high in the blend, so sweetness leads while the chiles stay underneath as background warmth rather than heat, and apple cider vinegar carries a round, fruity tang. Add water and it simmers into barbeque sauce; work it in dry and it becomes a rub or a glaze. The sugar is what does the work on the grill — it caramelizes into a lacquer under heat, which is also why a sweet blend wants a careful eye near open flame.

Suggested Uses

Barbeque Sauce — Whisk one part powder into two parts warm water with a tablespoon of butter and simmer two minutes; the butter rounds out the spice the water leaves flat, then thin with more water until it pours the way you want.

Dry Rub — About two tablespoons coats a pound of pork shoulder or chicken thighs; rub it on an hour ahead. Because the sugar burns, keep it to indirect heat or low smoke and save any direct flame for the end.

Glaze — Stir two tablespoons with just enough water to brush, then lacquer ribs or wings in the last ten minutes of cooking so the honey and brown sugar set into a sticky finish. Pull before it chars.

Pulled Pork or Chicken — Toss a tablespoon of dry powder per pound through the shredded meat, then add a splash of water or cider vinegar to loosen it into a sauce that clings.

Baked Beans — Stir two tablespoons into a pot of beans as they simmer; the tomato, honey, and vinegar are already the backbone of the dish, so it seasons in one move. No extra salt — the blend is carrying it.

Burgers or Meatloaf — Work one tablespoon per pound into ground beef or pork before forming; it seasons the inside the way a glaze seasons the outside.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes — Toss cubes in oil and a tablespoon of powder, then roast at 400°F so the potato's natural sugars and the honey in the blend brown together. Salt to taste at the end, not before.
